[Template] Booking starts Reminder email notification

To decrease the no-show rate, AutoAppointment system can send email reminder to customer/staff before the start of a booking, you may follow this simple guide.

Create New Workflow #

Login to admin dashboard > Workflow > Create New Workflow
  1. Name: This is a name for you to easily recognize
  2. When this happen : Select Booking Starts
  3. Do this : Select send email
  4. Then press CREATE button

Setup Filter #

Set how many minutes, hours, days, before the appointment starts you want to send this email.

Others filter just leave it empty, if you want to send only this reminder to particular services, staffs, locations, or booking status, you may tweak yourself here.

at WHEN > Click Edit > Offset > set to 30 minutes > Save

Setup email template #

Under Workflow’s Send Email > Click Setup / Edit

You may use the template guide below and change according to your preference. Just copy and paste where neccessary

  1. To : Customer email , Staff email, admin email if you like
  2. Subject : [Reminder] Your {service_name} starts in 30 minutes
  3. Body : Copy and paste template below, and edit to your own preference
Dear {customer_full_name}, 

Please find your booking details below as:

1.Booking ID: {appointment_id}
2.Date: {appointment_date}
3.Time: {appointment_start_time}
4.Duration: {appointment_duration}
5.Location: {location_name} , {location_google_maps_url}
6.Service: {service_name}
7.Staff: {staff_name}, {staff_phone}, {staff_email}
8.Total amount: {appointments_total_price}
9.Status: {appointment_status}

*Please forward this email to those who wants to attend the {service_name} also
